Survey of the birds of Bilsa Biological Reserve, Mache Hills, northwest Ecuador. Report of Mache-Chindul 1995, by John Hornbuckle and Andrew Mudd. (1997)
A report of a survey made by A Mudd of London University in 1991 of the forest remnants of the Bilsa region. The survey was made prior to the establisment of the Jatun Sacha Biological Station and gives some insight into the problems which gave rise to need for the reserve to be established.
