Environ is a unique organisation, the largest local environmental charity in Europe. It was launched in September 1993 through the merger of Leicester Ecology Trust and Leicester Environment City Trust. From its origins, Environ has had 15 years of experience at the leading edge of the environmental movement. Mission Statement Environ seeks to improve the quality of life and protect the environment. The are working to achieve this by: Understanding people's needs. Creating solutions to meet those needs through environmentally sustainable projects. Communicating environmental issues and problems whilst promoting positive alternatives.
